Windows Blu-ray Player is an excellent Blu-ray media player software for Windows-based computers. Moreover, extra settings will be undertaken through the secondary, right-click menu on the interface while enjoying. You may manage virtually the whole lot on the primary interface together with your mouse. The structure is straightforward to navigate and is made extra common because of the multi-language help. And unfortunately, some features from old version 2 are missing now.In addition to Blu-ray media codecs, it could actually additionally help DVD playback and any movies or audios like MP4, MOV, and RMVB, and so on. It is very easy to make use of and permits you to customize the interface by altering your preferences within the settings menu. (Similar to macOS built-in DVD Player and Quicktime Player.). So it seems that the app is deviated from a general purpose media player. However, the original intention is dedicated for Blu-ray disc playback.
Macgo Blu-ray Player Pro (colorful sphere icon, v3) for discs and files.ĭue to technical reasons, we are unable to merge them into a single app. Macgo Blu-ray Player (blue sphere icon, v3) for Blu-ray discs only. And later, the legacy version 2 (tilted square icon) was discontinued due to compliant issues.
Version 3 (colorful sphere icon) is new design for full menu support, so we called it Pro when it was released. This is a dumbed down version of the original MACGO BLU RAY PLAYERĬan't even open multiple windows of the same app, like the old one use to.so why call it pro if you took features away.i wish apple and other companies like this one would stop dumbing down apps.
I'll try to make some update for these issues. Sometimes I just can't resist to click the menu buttons, even I know they are un-clickable. But menu navigation with mouse is almost impossible because the menu is a small java app on Blu-ray disc, which accepts key events only. To add volume boost (with a risk of clipping), there is indeed a need to redesign the volume slider.
I'm sorry that you have experienced such issues that I've also struggled with for a long time. The volume issue will be significant for people who are watching on laptops and who live in cities, where there is a lot of noise if you have a window open, or if you live in a noisy building like a dorm. They should perhaps allow over-extending the volume the way VLC player does. But they really need to fix the volume and mouse navigation faults that I mentioned, especially for the high price they charge. Leawo will let you play the extra tracks on the disc, but you have to figure out what they are and you don’t know the title, whereas this app does show you the names of the extra menu items. I mainly bought this software because it does allow you to see the disc menus, which Leawo’s app does not. If these two things were fixed, it would definitely get an extra star. You constantly forget to do it that way and it’s just a poor oversight. (2) the menu options must be selected with the arrow keys and the enter key. The volume levels with the Leawo Player are about two or three notches more than with this software. I have to have my volume at the maximum for every disc and it’s often not loud enough. My two biggest complaints about Macgo Blu-ray Player Pro, given the hefty price, are: (1) the volume levels are too low.
